Credits measure AI usage inside SquarePact. Different tasks consume different amounts: a quick formatting check uses fewer credits than a full contract consistency analysis. Credits are only consumed when you run an AI-powered action. Browsing the add-in, viewing results, and making manual edits cost nothing.

You have full control in SquarePact. Credit usage depends on the length of the document, the level of reasoning you select, and the complexity of the tasks. You can configure the credit usage by selecting low- or high-credit tasks, and by varying the reasoning depth.

You can purchase additional credits from your account dashboard at any time without changing your plan. Alternatively, upgrading to a higher tier gives you a larger monthly allowance. However, the cost per credit when upgrading is higher than the cost per credit that comes with your subscription.

Yes. For each task you run, you can choose between low- and high-credit processing. Low-credit tasks use lighter, faster analysis and handle most routine checks well. High-credit tasks apply deeper reasoning and are better suited for complex or high-stakes documents. You can also adjust reasoning depth task by task, so you're not paying for heavyweight processing on a simple formatting check.
